About the show

​Our show happens every August, thanks to local volunteers. It is open to any amateur and you do not need to belong to a specific club to enter.

 

We keep our rules simple rather than following strict professional standards because we want everyone to join in, have fun, and learn. Our basic guidelines simply ensure things are fair and help you present your work well.​

 

Every year, we are impressed by the talent on display. Whether you win or not, every entry proves what people can do with a little time and effort. Professional judges review the exhibits. They have high standards but always respect the hard work and care you put into your display.​ 

 

While there is some friendly competition, that is not our main goal. We want to celebrate local talent and inspire people to try new crafts or hobbies. We want the show to be an exhibition of what our community can achieve.​
